The Master of Science in Materials Science & Engineering program at Washington State University is an interdisciplinary degree that combines coursework from Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Science, and Materials Science & Engineering. This program provides students with the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of materials science fundamentals such as structure-property relationships, advanced materials characterization techniques, processing and manufacturing methods, biomaterials, nanomaterials, and sustainability. Students will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through laboratory courses and research projects.
