Global Justice and Security Studies

The Postgraduate Certificate in Global and Security Studies at Washington State University is an interdisciplinary program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle global justice and security challenges. The program features a comprehensive curriculum that covers topics such as international political economy, human rights, conflict resolution, and global governance. Through courses and seminars taught by faculty from multiple departments, the program provides students with a deep understanding of global security challenges and the tools needed to address them. Students may also pursue a Master’s degree including the Graduate Certificate in Global and Security Studies for additional expertise in the field. Upon completion of the program, graduates will be well-prepared for careers in government agencies, nonprofit organizations, international institutions, or even academia. They will have the skills and knowledge needed to make significant contributions towards making a more just and secure world.
