The University of Cincinnati
UC is a public research university in Cincinnati, Ohio. Founded in 1819, UC is the oldest institution of higher education in Cincinnati and has an annual enrollment of over 44,000 students. UC is ranked #151 in the U.S. News & World Report's 2022-2023 edition of Best Colleges.
UC offers over 600 undergraduate and graduate degree programs and is known for its strong engineering, business, and medical programs. UC is also home to the world's first cooperative education program, which allows students to gain real-world work experience while they are still in school.
University of Cincinnati's campus is located in the heart of Cincinnati and is home to a variety of cultural attractions, including the Cincinnati Art Museum, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, and the Taft Museum of Art. UC is also a member of the American Athletic Conference, and its athletic teams are known as the Bearcats.
