The Non-thesis Track allows students to gain a broad overview of interior design practice and theory while focusing on one area of specialization such as research, historic preservation, healthcare design or sustainable design. The thesis track is designed for students who are interested in researching an original concept within the field of Interior Design. The program offers courses from multiple disciplines including history, psychology, graphic design and technology. With its interdisciplinary approach, graduates will possess a greater understanding of how design affects people's health, safety and overall well-being. Additionally, they will have the skills to create innovative designs that balance aesthetics with functionality and sustainability. Upon completion of this program, graduates can expect to find employment in architecture firms, construction companies, government agencies and universities or pursue advanced studies leading towards advanced degrees such as Doctoral programs in Interior Design or other related fields like Architecture or Environmental Design.
