The Doctoral program in Biomedical Sciences Combined Clinical Microbiology Residency at Washington State University provides students with an advanced education in the areas of immunology, epidemiology, and host-pathogen interactions at the molecular level of bacterial, parasitic, and viral infections of animals and humans. This program is uniquely interdisciplinary and integrates coursework from departments such as Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology, Molecular Biosciences, Paul G. Allen School for Global Animal Health, Washington State University Animal Health Research Center, and USDA-ARS Animal Disease Research Unit.
